The Faculty of Economics and Management Science of Leipzig University is seeking a W3-Professorship in “Biodiversity Economics.” Candidates should have a strong track record in economic theory and quantitative methods with a visible profile in biodiversity economics, addressing both compositional and functional aspects of biodiversity. A strong record in interdisciplinary research and willingness to engage with colleagues in both natural and social sciences at iDiv and with stakeholders at the science-society interface are essential. Applicants should have an outstanding record in publications and third-party funding, experience in project coordination, and a successful teaching record including supervision of PhD students.
