Join the science community at COP21

The COP21 conference on climate change will begin in little over a week. Will you be attending?

Paris will be busy with representatives from all over the world attending the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties, and ISSC is working with Future Earth and the International Council for Science (ICSU) to provide a community hub for researchers coming to Paris to help with information sharing and networking within the research community present at the meeting.

We will have a booth at COP21 for most of the two weeks, and we hope to provide a lively focal point for the research community attending COP21, with regular briefings on the negotiations from members of our community, and highlights about relevant side events (both off-site and on) via email. We are also putting together an expert database for the accredited media (3,000 journalists) to facilitate timely and efficient connections among journalists and attending researchers.

Sign up and be part of the community!

Please let us know via this short online questionnaire whether you will be in Paris for the COP, your dates, and your planned activities so that we can highlight them in our communications:

Please note that ISSC cannot arrange official accreditation and access to the COP for non-accredited participants, and cannot provide any financial or travel assistance.
