Materials Use Across World Regions: Inevitable Pasts and Possible Futures

The Journal of Industrial Ecology has recently published a special issue on Materials Use Across World Regions: Inevitable Pasts and Possible Futures. The special issue examines resource use on a global scale–focusing on materials use at national and world regional levels, detailed analysis of metals cycles within this context, and assessment of existing governmental policies that are based on material flow analysis (MFA).  Countries and regions examined include Australia, Japan, Austria, the USA, Europe, Latin America, and the transition economies.
