Research Associate in Social Science and Circular Economy

We are hiring one full-time social science post-doctoral research associate for our interdisciplinary project ‘One Bin to Rule Them All‘ funded by the UKRI Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund: Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Grant.  The project explores the circular economy of plastic waste and will involve a household trial.

The interdisciplinary project team, composed of Prof Mike Shaver, Dr. Helen Holmes, and Dr. Maria Sharmina, is based at the University of Manchester between the Sustainable Materials Innovation Hub, The Sustainable Consumption Institute, and The Tyndall Centre for Climate Change.

We are looking for a qualitative researcher to join our Social Science Work Package led by Dr. Helen Holmes. The post is full-time for 18 months (with the possibility of extension). The application deadline is the 2nd of June 2021.
