SPSAS Scenarios

São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Scenarios and Modelling on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services to Support Human Well-Being

The São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Scenarios and Modelling on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services to Support Human Well-Being will be held in São Pedro (190 km from São Paulo) from 01 – 15 July, 2019.

Applications are open until February 20th.

Most of the speakers have been involved in the development of IPBES conceptual framework and scenarios and models for biodiversity and ecosystem services.

Eligibility: PhD Students and early career (those who have gotten her/his PhD from 2017 onwards).

Costs related to the course, accommodation, meals and transfer (S. Paulo-S. Pedro) will be covered by the School. The School is sponsored by Fapesp (São Paulo Research Foundation) and has the support of the Brazilian Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (BPBES), University of Campinas (Unicamp), University of São Paulo (USP), the National Institute of Space Research (INPE), the BIOTA/FAPESP Program and the Inter-American Institute for Global Change Research (IAI).
